On the afternoon of March 27, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province inaugurated the connecting road from National Highway 19 to Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial, Urban and Service Park, with a total investment of more than 1,170 billion VND.

Attending the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung emphasized that this is not only a milestone marking the completion of a modern transport project, but also a vivid symbol of 50 years of reconstruction and development of Binh Dinh after liberation.

The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that in order for the project to be put into operation and promote investment efficiency, provincial leaders, investors, and management and exploitation units need to perform well the management, maintenance and use of the project...

Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang - Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee said that the route is about 19.5km long, designed according to the standards of a grade III plain road, with 2 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for rudimentary vehicles, passing through An Nhon town, Tay Son district and Van Canh district.

On the route there are 7 prestressed concrete bridges, modern and synchronous drainage, traffic safety and lighting systems.

The route helps shorten the length from the intersection of National Highway 19 (Km27+250) and DT.638 (Km120+825) in Nhon Tan commune, An Nhon town to the center of Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial, Urban and Service Park from 31.5km to 16.5km.

At the same time, the route contributes to the development of transport infrastructure, promoting trade of goods from Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial, Urban and Service Park with the Central Highlands provinces and Quy Nhon port; ensuring security and defense of the western localities of the province...

According to Mr. Hoang, the project started in August 2023 and was expected to be completed after 24 months of construction. However, the project was basically completed after 19 months of construction, 5 months ahead of schedule.

On the same afternoon, Binh Dinh also inaugurated the Dinh River flood drainage system project, with a total investment of 602 billion VND. Of which, the construction cost is 316 billion VND and the compensation cost for site clearance is 286 billion VND.

The project started construction in March 2022 and will be put into use in December 2024, 7 months ahead of schedule.
