Da Nang supports the Vietnamese Association and the Vietnamese Language Center of Salavane province

On the afternoon of April 2, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh and a delegation from Da Nang City visited the Salavane Province Vietnamese Association and the Salavane Province Vietnamese Language Center.

Currently, the Vietnamese community in Salavane province has about 100 households, with more than 500 people. The activities of the Salavane Vietnamese Association are organized in a rich and diverse manner, promoting the spirit of solidarity, sharing, helping each other in life and economic development; and strictly complying with local policies and laws.

Salavane Province Vietnamese Language Center was supported by the city to be built in 2019, with a total investment of 7.1 billion. Up to now, the Center has enrolled and trained scholastic courses for officials and students of the province and districts, especially students before going to Vietnam to study, with a total of 334 students.

Through the reality and exchanges with the Salavane Vietnamese Association and the Salavane Vietnamese Language Center, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh was pleased that in the common solidarity, the relationship between Da Nang and Salavane has developed a lot. The Vietnamese community in Salavane has united, shared and developed together. The activities of the Vietnamese Language Center have also made many efforts.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee sent best wishes for the Bunpimay festival to the people and also shared the current difficulties; noted the proposals and the city will consider and decide.

On this occasion, Da Nang city supported the Vietnamese Association of Salavane province with 120 million VND to pay the salary of a Vietnamese teacher at the Laos-Vietnam Friendship School; presented gifts to Vietnamese teachers and donated books to the Center; and supported 50 million VND for people to celebrate Bunpimay./.
