On the morning of March 28, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Steering Committee 35 held a conference to provide professional training for members, staff, and support staff of the Steering Committee 35 at all levels in the province in 2024. The conference was attended by 460 delegates.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, comrade Dao Xuan Yen, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Steering Committee 35 emphasized: The contents conveyed at the conference are very important, necessary, and practical information for cadres and forces of the Steering Committee 35 at all levels in the province.
Comrade Dao Xuan Yen, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Steering Committee 35 delivered the opening speech at the conference.
In order for the conference to achieve the best results, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested delegates to promote a sense of responsibility, be serious in studying, actively exchange, discuss, grasp issues to apply to the activities of localities, agencies and units. In particular, to improve the quality and effectiveness of propaganda work, combat and refute erroneous and hostile viewpoints, immediately after the conference, localities should advise Party committees, agencies and units to organize conferences to foster professional skills and continue to consolidate and build core forces, actively organize struggles, refute plots and distorted arguments of hostile forces, and protect the Party's ideological foundation.

At the training conference, members, staff, and support staff of Steering Committee 35 at all levels were briefed on the following topics by Major General, Associate Professor, Doctor, People's Teacher Nguyen Ba Duong, member of the Central Theoretical Council, former Director of the Military Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ministry of National Defense, and Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Toan, Deputy Head of the Criminal Police Department, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police: Identifying, detecting, preventing, and refuting fake news, toxic information, and wrong and hostile views on cyberspace. Prohibited acts on cyberspace; protecting personal information and personal data on cyberspace in conjunction with the implementation of Regulation No. 85-QD/TW, dated October 7, 2022 of the Central Party Secretariat on cadres and party members establishing and using personal websites on the Internet and social networks. Responsibilities of cadres and party members on cyberspace; Skills in choosing topics and writing political articles to defend the Party's ideological foundation; identifying and preventing crimes and violations of the law on the Internet and social networks today.

Through the conference, we aim to continue to effectively implement Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW, dated October 22, 2018 of the Politburo (12th tenure) on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting and refuting wrong and hostile views in the new situation, in conjunction with the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress; at the same time, help trainees update new knowledge and information, improve their skills and expertise, thereby proactively and flexibly applying them in practice; gradually improve the effectiveness of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting and refuting wrong and hostile views in the new situation, contributing to the good implementation of political tasks of localities and units.
