Mr. Truong Gia Binh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT Corporation shared the achievements of FPT in 2023.
According to Mr. Truong Gia Binh, AI, Semiconductor and Automotive Technology are the three directions that FPT technology block will focus on. In all three directions, FPT has a foundation accumulated over many years. FPT has a large team of AI experts, built the Quy Nhon Artificial Intelligence Center and participated in the world AI alliance initiated by IBM and Meta. During the past Tet holiday, FPT had more than 170 AI certificates issued by NIVIDIA and will strive to reach tens of thousands of certificates in the future. In the field of semiconductor chips, FPT Semiconductor is the first Vietnamese company to design commercial chips, with orders of 70 million chips for Japan, Korea, Taiwan... and cooperates with many organizations and companies in Japan and the US. In addition, the group has a team of 4,000 experts in the field of automotive software technology and many partners and customers are big global brands, establishing FPT Automotive company. “To achieve the big goal, FPT thinks the most important thing is people, happiness and we use AI to help people, life is happier,” Mr. Truong Gia Binh affirmed. Minister Nguyen Manh Hung: FPT inspires Vietnamese digital technology enterprises. During the working session, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung acknowledged the results FPT achieved in 2023. According to the Minister, Vietnam has over 40,000 Digital Technology Enterprises, most of which are small-scale. FPT's success will inspire small businesses, especially when going abroad.

Commenting on FPT's achievements in 2023 with the milestone of FPT's revenue from foreign markets reaching 1 billion USD, the Minister said that this is a breakthrough step that brings FPT to a different rank and class globally. Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung affirmed: "It can be said that digital technology, digital transformation, AI and perseverance with the initial strength have helped FPT succeed. FPT's bet on AI, semiconductor chips and automotive software technology, especially AI, is a very correct strategy." Talking about FPT's legacy, the Minister affirmed that it is the Hope School. "More than 200 children orphaned by Covid-19 are growing up in FPT's Hope School. Covid 19 destroyed but also gave birth to new life. Those lives are growing here, in FPT itself," the Minister said. In the future, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung entrusted FPT to apply technology to promote digital transformation and green transformation to change the life of the earth as well as build digital infrastructure, contributing to the development of the digital economy. In addition, the Minister believes that FPT will succeed in the field of AI - the main and most important technology of the fourth industrial revolution. AI must be popularized as a service and the responsibility belongs to digital technology companies like FPT.

2024 will be the first year that Vietnam implements the national strategy on the semiconductor industry. This is a fundamental industry and a key national industry in the next 30-50 years. According to the Minister, FPT wants to develop the semiconductor and electronics industries, it must have a bigger vision and greater determination.
