On the afternoon of March 25, comrade Nguyen Doan Anh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, had a working session with staff and lecturers of Hong Duc University.

According to the report, Hong Duc University was established by the Prime Minister on September 24, 1997 on the basis of 3 colleges, including: Pedagogical College, College of Economics - Technology, Thanh Hoa Medical College. After 28 years of construction and development, the school has strived to achieve many important results, contributing positively to the training of human resources to serve the socio-economic development of the province. To date, the school has 672 cadres, lecturers, civil servants and employees. In the 2023-2024 school year, the school's training scale is more than 11,000 students, including 25 doctoral students, 702 graduate students, more than 7,000 students trained at the university level in the form of regular training and more than 3,000 students trained in the form of joint training, study and work...

Research and transfer of science and technology have made many progressive changes. Cooperation with universities around the world has been enhanced, contributing to approaching and keeping up with the educational development trends of advanced countries. Infrastructure continues to be invested in and built, increasingly serving training and scientific research.

Speaking to the staff and lecturers of Hong Duc University, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Doan Anh acknowledged and highly appreciated the process of building and developing the school, which has been associated with improving the quality of training human resources of the province in a modern direction, approaching advanced university education in the region and the world.

During the training process, the School Council and the Board of Directors have paid attention to training combined with scientific research, technology transfer, innovation and according to the needs of the labor market, directly serving the socio-economic development of the province. The school has affirmed its position and brand; well implemented the policies of the Party, the State and the province on education and training, the training scale is increasingly expanding; scientific research topics are applied in practice; international training cooperation is increasingly in-depth.
