BHG - On the afternoon of March 20, Comrade Hau A Lenh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, received Mr. Sandeep Arya - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Vietnam. Also attending the reception were Comrade Hoang Gia Long, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Departments of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Education - Training, Science and Technology, Culture - Sports and Tourism.

At the reception, Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Vietnam Sandeep Arya were pleased to see that the traditional friendship between Vietnam and India, between Ha Giang province and the Indian Embassy in Vietnam, is increasingly developing well and becoming more substantial, especially in the fields of tourism, healthcare and education.

Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh emphasized: The visit and working visit of the Indian Ambassador to Vietnam to Ha Giang province continues to affirm the cooperative relationship between Ha Giang province and the Embassy as well as promote the 50-year diplomatic relations of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and India.

Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh said: Through the support of Ambassador Sandeep Arya   and the Embassy of India have helped Ha Giang province complete 3 projects including accommodation, schools and clean water systems for local people; provincial officials and civil servants are eligible for English scholarships.

The Provincial Party Secretary also gave an overview to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Vietnam about the potential, strengths as well as advantages and difficulties of Ha Giang province in various fields, especially the high mountainous terrain, fragmentation, climate change, and natural disasters. Thereby, he hoped that in his role, Ambassador Sandeep Arya would continue to be a bridge, caring for and introducing the image, culture, and people of Ha Giang province to the people of India. Support connecting Indian businesses and investors to survey, research, and implement investment projects in Ha Giang province. Continue to allocate funding resources to the province related to fields such as: education, healthcare, information technology, artificial intelligence, and social security.

Mr. Sandeep Arya - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Vietnam thanked the warm and respectful reception of the Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh and the departments and agencies for the delegation. The Ambassador affirmed that Vietnam and India have had a good relationship for many decades. He hoped that Ha Giang province would pay attention and participate in programs and projects that India is implementing in Vietnam such as: Climate change response, digital transformation, application of information technology.... Mr. Sandeep Arya also hoped that Ha Giang province and the Indian Embassy in Vietnam would continue to maintain the good cooperative relationship for many years; especially in the fields of education, culture, tourism... Thereby contributing to the economic and social development of both sides in the coming time.
