Singer Uyen Linh has just posted a clip of the whole performance in Phan Thiet that caused a stir recently. During this performance, while she was singing a duet with male singer Quoc Thien, an incident occurred where a latecomer had no seat.
Uyen Linh proactively calmed down the situation after an incident where a late audience member had no seat.
Because he was so upset, this person took singer Quoc Thien's microphone to complain about the organization of the program. Male singer Quoc Thien quickly spoke up to ask the organizers to arrange and support that guest. At this time, Uyen Linh said on the microphone: "The atmosphere is fun, why change it?". This statement immediately made netizens angry, criticizing Uyen Linh, saying that she was disrespecting the audience.
In the clip Uyen Linh just posted, it can be seen that the female singer took the initiative to calm the situation. She asked the organizers to ask the guest what song he liked so she could sing it to calm him down. She also continuously thanked the audience for patiently waiting for the concert despite the rain.
Uyen Linh admitted that she is not a tactful speaker, so she wanted to joke but caused a misunderstanding. The singer of "Giu dai lo Dong Tay" said that the incident was resolved during the concert, and that guest and the group of 6 people were given seats.
The singer believes that this is a good lesson to reflect on, and that debate and dialogue with the audience is necessary. Therefore, Uyen Linh patiently received and read most of the comments. Besides the positive comments, there were also negative comments.
" I accept all comments, criticisms, blames, and slanders to the extent that they are expressions of personal opinion. In addition, it is clear that everyone also sees that there are many insults, humiliation, toxicity, and ugliness. Through this, should the issue of social media violence also be recognized?
In today's era, who is suffering from violence from social networks and what should each of us do to reduce this violence? The story of Korean artists who committed suicide because they could not bear the insults is still there. Vietnamese artists have forever hidden their talents because of insults instead of the usual compliments and criticisms. It is heartbreaking and worth stopping for a moment to think," Uyen Linh said.
Uyen Linh mentioned being bullied online.
Uyen Linh also expressed her desire to close this issue with a spirit of tolerance, towards a healthy social networking environment.
Under Uyen Linh's post, many colleagues and audiences encouraged the female singer to not be affected by negative comments. MC Phi Linh commented: "Linh's lover doesn't care about people cursing Linh, he only cares if Linh is okay emotionally, hopefully not negatively affected by those attacks!".
Male singer Quoc Thien encouraged Uyen Linh: "That night, although the weather was not favorable, we, the organizers and all the audience tried our best to make the concert as perfect as possible. The incident came from a clip without a head or tail that accidentally made Linh absent-minded for a few days, so now that you have faced it, put it aside and continue to be active in your career with the audience who always love and support you."
