Miss Ky Duyen speaks out about her controversial performance in the preliminary round of Miss Universe Vietnam.
Having won the beauty pageant 10 years ago, the Ky Duyen returned to the beauty pageant with a surprising result. Although she was an outstanding and highly regarded contestant, Ky Duyen had a "superficial, uninspired" performance in the first stage of Miss Universe Vietnam.

"It's been 10 years since Ky Duyen returned to the beauty pageant, a real challenge. Not like what everyone thought. The mindset of going to a contest is different, the environment and everything around is also very different now, so I'm really a bit nervous, needing time to adapt to an environment that is both familiar and strange. Ky Duyen said that the preliminary round did not require her to speak English, and that she rarely communicated in this language. However, the beauty tried to write her introduction and express herself in English.
The beauty from Nam Dinh admitted that her performance was not good and expressed her hope that the audience would understand her courage: "My teacher scolded me after watching it because she didn't understand why I was so brave. Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen was born in 1996, from Nam Dinh. She was crowned Miss Vietnam 2014 when she was only 18 years old. The beauty is 1.76 m tall, with measurements of 86-60-94 cm. At the time of her coronation, Ky Duyen faced many scandals and controversies.
Compared to the time she was crowned, Ky Duyen now has a significant change in appearance. The beauty has a balanced figure thanks to a regular diet and exercise regimen.
