Accordingly, the crime-solving force and the Tan Son Nhat International Airport Border Police arrested Nguyen Ngoc My (born in 1993, residing in Di An City, Binh Duong Province) while she was completing exit procedures to go abroad.
At the same time, Long An Provincial Police coordinated to arrest Lam Phuc Loi (born 2000, residing in Vinh Long Province) while he was hiding in Ben Luc District, Long An Province and arrested Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen (born 2001, residing in Ben Tre Province) while she was hiding in Tan Thoi Hoa Ward, Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City.
Initially, the police determined that these three people had robbed nearly 3.8 billion VND. Currently, the authorities have recovered nearly 3.5 billion VND and other evidence, and identified Nguyen Ngoc My as the ringleader.

At the police station, these people confessed that they were all in debt and unable to pay. They met and became friends on the social network Facebook.
Around the beginning of October 2023, they began discussing and agreeing on a plan to rob the Nhi Xuan Transaction Office, Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Bank.
Nguyen Ngoc My and Lam Phuc Loi ordered two homemade guns on social media. They then ordered a motorbike and repainted it black to use as a means of committing the crime. At the same time, they assigned Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen to rent a car with a license plate to assist in the process of robbing the bank and escaping.
At 8:00 a.m. on October 24, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen drove a car carrying Nguyen Ngoc My and Lam Phuc Loi rode a motorbike to Nhi Xuan Transaction Office to observe.
At around 10:30 a.m., Lam Phuc Loi and Nguyen Ngoc My moved to the front of Nhi Xuan Transaction Office, Saigon Thuong Tin Bank, used guns to threaten and control the security guards, employees and customers of the bank.
At the same time, Lam Phuc Loi went inside the counter, threatened the bank employee, put money in a prepared backpack, and escaped.

Next, Nguyen Ngoc My and Lam Phuc Loi burned motorbikes, clothes, and backpacks to erase their traces. Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen picked them up and hid in many locations in District 12. That same afternoon, they traveled by taxi to Vung Tau City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, divided the stolen money, and continued to hide in many provinces and cities.
Currently, Ho Chi Minh City Police are urgently investigating and consolidating evidence to strictly handle crimes in accordance with the law.
