Nghe An Newspaper excellently won 2 National Press Awards on National Assembly and People's Council

The 2nd Dien Hong Award - 2024 will be presented on the evening of January 5, 2024, at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, and will be broadcast live from 8:00 p.m. on channels: VTV1 of Vietnam Television, VOV1 of Voice of Vietnam and Vietnam National Assembly Television.

Attending the award ceremony were leaders of the Party and State; National Assembly delegates; representatives of central ministries, departments and branches; and press agencies.

After 6 months of launching, the 2nd Dien Hong Award - 2024 received 2,679 entries from 138 central and local press agencies, Office of the National Assembly Delegation and People's Council, domestic and foreign individuals...

The Judging Council highly appreciated the quality of the works participating in the 2nd Dien Hong Award, especially the outstanding quality of the works awarded this time, demonstrating the attention, investment and response of press agencies as well as reporters and editors of central and local press agencies. The participating works all closely follow and fully reflect the themes and topics according to the Rules of the 2nd Dien Hong Press Award, have good content, closely follow the "breath" of life, especially highlighting the position, role, functions and tasks of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels...

The Organizing Committee of the Award has selected 106 works for the final round. The final jury voted and selected 79 works to award the 2nd Dien Hong Award, including 7 A prizes, 14 B prizes, 20 C prizes and 38 Encouragement prizes.

Nghe An Newspaper was honored to have 2 works awarded: The 4-part special issue "Innovation in the activities of elected agencies for the goal of creating development" by authors Ngo Duc Chuyen, Nguyen Thanh Duy, Nguyen Thi Mai Hoa, was awarded the B prize, Print Newspaper category; The 5-part report "A decade of abandoning boarding schools in highland high schools: It's time for a change!" by authors Ngo Nhat Lan and Dao Tuan was awarded the Encouragement prize, Electronic Newspaper category.

This is also the second consecutive time that Nghe An Newspaper has had a work that won the Dien Hong Press Award. Previously, at the first Dien Hong Award, Nghe An Newspaper had the work “Deserving of being an elected representative” by authors Ngo Duc Chuyen, Nguyen Thanh Duy, Nguyen Mai Hoa, Hoang Thi Hoa, which was awarded the B prize, print category.

The Dien Hong Award is an annual award organized by the Office of the National Assembly in coordination with the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Journalists Association, and Vietnam Television to honor outstanding journalistic works about the National Assembly and People's Councils.
