(CLO) On December 24, at the National Assembly House, the Organizing Committee of the 3rd National Press Award on the National Assembly and People's Councils (Dien Hong Award) - 2025 held a meeting of the Final Judging Council.

Speaking at the opening of the Session, on behalf of the leaders of the National Assembly Office and the Organizing Committee of the Dien Hong Award, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Tung expressed his gratitude to the members of the Preliminary and Final Councils of the Dien Hong Award for working responsibly and urgently, selecting quality, typical, and worthy works for the Final Round; hoping that the members of the Final Council will continue to promote their sense of responsibility, work impartially and objectively, and select truly excellent works to award the 3rd Dien Hong Award in 2025.

On behalf of the Preliminary Council of the 3rd Dien Hong Award, Mr. Pham Manh Hung, Deputy General Director of the Voice of Vietnam, Chairman of the Preliminary Council, said that after screening a total of 4,079 entries from 163 press agencies, the Preliminary Council selected 725 entries, including: 186 print newspapers; 234 electronic newspapers; 73 magazines (print and electronic); 138 television works; 59 radio works; 35 photos.

According to Mr. Pham Manh Hung, the highlight of the third season of Dien Hong Award is that the entries are very diverse, increasing in quantity and quality, especially in the categories of electronic newspapers, radio, television, and print newspapers.

The works closely follow the breath of life, are diverse in topics and fields, and strongly reflect the new directive priorities of the Politburo, the 13th Central Executive Committee, and General Secretary To Lam. Especially the issues raised for the country and the entire political system to prepare the position, strength, and determination to bring the country into a new era.

The third season of Dien Hong Awards has seen the active participation of central and local press agencies; in which, the number of local press agencies has increased compared to the previous season; the quality of works has clearly narrowed the gap between central and local levels in the categories of visual, electronic and printed newspapers. Thereby, it shows the interest of the press in particular as well as public opinion in general in the activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils.

The works selected for the final round must be balanced in terms of region, field, central and local, diverse in topics and have high quality in terms of content, message and form of expression.
