Building on the results of the first Dien Hong Award, this year the number of awards and the value of the awards have been increased; although the time was short, only 6 months after the first season, the Organizing Committee of the Award received 2,679 quality entries from 138 press agencies at both the central and local levels with much exploration, creativity, and appeal, which were well received and highly appreciated by readers.
Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man praised the comrades in the Steering Committee and the Organizing Committee for proactively implementing the Award in a scientific, methodical, professional and effective manner, with the Award Judging Council being experienced, prestigious, impartial, objective and transparent.
Comrade Vuong Dinh Hue - Politburo member, Chairman of the National Assembly and Comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission presented the A Prize to the winning authors.
Comrade Tran Thanh Man emphasized that inheriting and promoting the glorious tradition of 78 years of the Vietnamese National Assembly, the 15th National Assembly has been and is continuing to make efforts to innovate, improve the quality of its activities and has achieved many important and quite comprehensive results in terms of legislation, supreme supervision and decision-making on important issues of the country. In localities, the activities of People's Councils at all levels have also been increasingly innovated to be more practical and effective.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly assessed that 2024 is a year of special importance in implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution on the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan 2021-2025 of the National Assembly.

“I hope that press agencies and journalists will continue to promote their sense of responsibility, dedication, love for the profession, trust and affection for the People's representative agencies; proactively propagate and promote comprehensively, promptly and effectively to bring the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws into life; and make greater and greater contributions to building a more effective and efficient National Assembly and People's Council, worthy of the trust of voters and the People,” said comrade Tran Thanh Man.
Comrade Do Van Chien - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Comrade Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam presented the C Prize to the winning authors.
With the glorious tradition of Vietnam's revolutionary press, the team of journalists is increasingly mature in political courage, professional ethics, expertise and professionalism, comrade Tran Thanh Man believes that the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels will continue to receive active support from central and local press agencies.
At the same time, the Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly hopes that journalists will have new research, discoveries and creativity to write about the National Assembly and the People's Council; continue to affirm their role as a bridge between the "Party's will" and the "people's heart", a forum for people of all walks of life to contribute their enthusiasm and intelligence to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; create positive spillovers, encourage the spirit of solidarity, aspiration, self-reliance, self-reliance and creativity among the people to build a prosperous and happy country.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 7 A prizes, 14 B prizes, 20 C prizes, and 38 Encouragement prizes to outstanding authors and groups of authors. In addition, 15 collectives of press agencies were also awarded for their contributions to the Dien Hong Prize.
On this occasion, comrade Bui Van Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of Dien Hong Award launched the third Dien Hong Award - 2025.
