Standing Committee of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee: Giving opinions on draft reports and projects

On the afternoon of March 13, comrade Trinh Viet Hung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, chaired the 91st meeting of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, 20th term, 2020-2025 term.

The conference listened to and commented on the report assessing the results of implementing programs, projects, and plans for socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security for the 2020-2025 term. According to the report, since the beginning of the term, under the leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels; the dynamic, flexible, creative, and drastic management of the government; the efforts of the business community, entrepreneurs, and people of all ethnic groups in the province, Thai Nguyen has overcome many difficulties and challenges and achieved many positive results in many aspects: The economy continues to grow well; national defense and security are ensured; the cultural and social fields have made much progress; Party building and political system building have been strengthened... The major programs, projects, and projects implemented have contributed to promoting the province's socio-economic development...

At the Conference, the representative of the Provincial Party Committee reported and asked for opinions on the adjustment of the Investment Project for the construction of Yen Binh cargo loading and unloading port in Mom Kieu area (Thuan Thanh ward, Pho Yen city); reported and asked for approval for the adjustment of the Social Housing Project - Green House in Tich Luong ward (Thai Nguyen city); reported and asked for opinions on the Project for exploiting limestone as common construction materials at Nui Chuong limestone mine, Yen Lac commune (Phu Luong).

Regarding the content of Party building and political system building, the Conference listened to and commented on draft reports summarizing and summarizing regulations and projects of the Central and the province such as: Project No. 07-DA/TU, dated July 15, 2021 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on "Improving the quality of grassroots party organizations and party members, period 2021-2025"; Project No. 11-DA/TU, dated December 3, 2018 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on "Continuing to innovate, improve the quality and effectiveness of investigation, grasping and orienting public opinion in Thai Nguyen province, period 2019-2025"; Project No. 01-DA/TU, dated March 23, 2021 on "Strengthening the Party's leadership in detecting and handling corruption cases and cases, period 2021-2025"...

Comrade Nguyen Linh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, reported some contents at the Conference.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee basically agreed with the draft reports and projects submitted by the advisory agencies. The delegates said that these are all important contents in the work of Party building and political system building, meeting the practical requirements of socio-economic development of the province in the coming time.

Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Viet Hung delivered a concluding speech at the Conference.

Concluding the Conference, Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Viet Hung requested the advisory agency to fully absorb the opinions at the Conference and promptly complete the submission for signing and promulgation. Regarding projects requesting increased investment capital, he requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant sectors to thoroughly review and ensure strict compliance with principles and within their authority.
