Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang commended and acknowledged the results in performing the tasks of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee in 2023.

In 2024, with a large workload, the committee is requested to make more efforts and organize activities to successfully complete the assigned tasks. Currently, the situation of drug-related crimes is complicated, drug users are increasing rapidly, so with its functions and tasks, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee will promptly advise the Standing Committee (SPC) and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to direct relevant agencies to effectively carry out drug prevention and control work to ensure peace for the people.

Pay attention to effectively receiving and handling citizens' complaints and denunciations in accordance with legal regulations, and at the same time advise the Provincial Party Committee to effectively lead the work of propagating and disseminating the law.

The report of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee stated that in 2023, the committee actively advised the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to lead and direct the work of preventing and combating corruption, negativity and judicial reform, and successfully completed assigned tasks.

In the period of 2021-2023, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee advised on the settlement of 7 corruption cases, reaching 117% of the planned target, of which the committee detected and transferred 1 case to the investigation agency; the competent authorities detected and transferred 2 cases with signs of corruption and negativity to the investigation agency. Advised the Party Committee to lead, direct and effectively handle and resolve 8 complicated and prominent cases and incidents related to security and order in the province, reaching 267% of the planned target.

Deploy and complete the review of inspection conclusions, implement recommendations of the State Audit for the period 2021-2022, through review, urging, and collection to pay to the state budget the amount of unrecovered violations of more than 3.8 billion VND...

Some good and effective ways that the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee achieved in 2023 were advising the Provincial Steering Committee (SC) on Anti-Corruption and Negativity to issue Regulations on receiving and handling complaints, denunciations, recommendations, and reflections from individuals and organizations sent to the SC and members of the Provincial SC.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee issued regulations on receiving and handling complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections from organizations and individuals sent to the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee. Organized a writing contest to learn about the work "Resolutely and persistently fighting against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State increasingly clean and strong" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong among cadres and civil servants of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department.

Regarding the 2024 tasks, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee is determined to perform well its advisory work to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and its professional tasks.

In particular, preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Party Committee Office to advise the Provincial Party Committee Secretary to receive citizens periodically every month according to Regulation No. 11 dated February 18, 2019 of the Politburo; advise the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to direct the effective resolution of complicated and prolonged petitions in accordance with regulations.

Receive and process petitions and letters sent by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negative Affairs, and directly received by the committee. Coordinate with relevant agencies to appraise projects on internal affairs, judicial reform, and anti-corruption and negative affairs before submitting them to the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, etc.
