Attending and chairing the handover conference was Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.
The handover conference was conducted in accordance with Decision No. 59 of the Prime Minister, Lieutenant General Tran Hoai Trung, Political Commissar of Military Region 7, retired according to the regime; Decision No. 385 of the Prime Minister on the appointment of Major General Tran Vinh Ngoc, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 7, to hold the position of Political Commissar of Military Region 7.
Mr. Ngoc said he will continue to promote the tradition of Military Region 7, train his intellectual qualities, and constantly cultivate himself to fulfill his new position and responsibilities well.
Concluding the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet highly appreciated the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the Military Region 7 Command, the Party and political activities of the agencies and units under the military region in recent times, including the important role of Lieutenant General Tran Hoai Trung.
Regarding Major General Tran Vinh Ngoc, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet emphasized that in his new position, there will be new requirements, he needs to strive to fulfill his new duties and tasks well, promote his exemplary role in moral qualities, lifestyle, and working style, be the nucleus of solidarity, closeness, and closeness to the troops, arouse and promote the collective strength in performing tasks, and continue to strive with the Party Committee to lead Military Region 7 to successfully complete assigned tasks.
2025 is the year of acceleration to carry out many assigned tasks. Mr. Quyet requested that in the coming time, the Party Committee and the Military Region 7 Command must grasp the situation, proactively advise the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense in leading the implementation of military and defense tasks. Closely coordinate with local Party committees and authorities in carrying out military and defense tasks, and maintain strategic areas within the assigned scope.
