Apple has just licensed three authorized dealers in Vietnam to sell iPhones and its products on TikTok Shop.
Previously, around late May to early June 2024, Apple sent an email requesting authorized retailers in Vietnam not to sell iPhones and Macbooks on Tiktok Shop and requested to remove their stores on this platform.
However, Apple has recently allowed 3 authorized dealers in Vietnam to sell iPhones and its products on TikTok Shop. This can be considered a positive move by the "bitten apple" brand towards retailers.

Yesterday, June 20, information from F.Studio by FPT said that after efforts in cooperation and negotiation, they were officially granted permission by Apple to sell the company's products on the TikTok Shop platform.
According to Mr. Phan Tran Thanh, Deputy Director of Apple products at F.Studio by FPT, selling on TikTok Shop helps the system easily reach young customers who like fast and convenient shopping experiences. At the same time, the system also appreciates the trust from Apple and appreciates this consensus.
Similarly, Mr. Nguyen Minh Khue, the system communications representative of Viettel Store, also said that the information about Apple allowing Viettel Store to sell products on the TikTok Shop platform is completely correct. Apple has sent a notification to the system to officially confirm this information. Accordingly, from 9:00 a.m. on June 20, Viettel Store can officially sell Apple products on the TikTok Shop platform in Vietnam.
Ms. Nguyen Phuong Anh, media representative of ShopDunk, also confirmed that Apple has now allowed the sales system on the TikTok Shop e-commerce platform, which shows that the company has recorded positive results in terms of revenue and actual sales of ShopDunk from this channel. This is a good opportunity for ShopDunk to continue to bring new, exclusive offers to users on all genuine distribution channels in operation.
Notably, Apple currently only allows authorized dealers to sell on TikTok Shop, but does not yet allow sales via livestream.
Currently, Apple only allows 3 authorized dealer systems, F.Studio by FPT, Viettel Store and ShopDunk, to sell on the TikTok Shop platform. The remaining systems have not yet received information from the company.
