Mr. Ha Huy Dong - Chairman of the Labor Federation of Dien Chau District, Nghe An - said: "On the morning of October 6, more than 1,000 workers of Viet Glory Company Limited entered the factory to work. Many workers continued to come to the factory gate and then left."
Viet Glory Company Limited is located in Dien Truong Commune, Dien Chau District, operating in the field of leather shoes for export, currently has about 6,000 workers. After lunch on October 2, about 5,000 workers of this company left en masse, not coming to work for the afternoon shift.
The trade union has recorded many opinions and recommendations from employees to forward to the company's leaders for consideration and resolution.

On October 4, the interdisciplinary delegation of the Labor Federation and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Nghe An province, together with the functional departments of the People's Committee of Dien Chau district, directly had a dialogue and promoted workers to return to work soon; at the same time, worked with the company's board of directors to resolve problems between the two sides.
In the second announcement, Viet Glory Company Limited continued to affirm that it could not adjust the basic salary increase according to the employee's request.
The company commits not to require pregnant female workers to take time off work unless there is a leave request from the worker or a doctor's order.
The company also checked, corrected and adjusted the recommendations regarding the improper attitude of management staff, timekeeping machines, and unreasonable meeting times. The company does not require workers to work before the prescribed time.
The company specifically explains the process of establishing labor standards applicable to workers and affirms that the production standards applied by the company are consistent with specialized shoe science.

In the coming time, the company will disseminate to workers about the process and how to calculate the norms so that workers can understand and implement. From October, the company will increase the production bonus for all employees of the factory.
Welfare benefits will be implemented according to company regulations.
Regarding the proposal not to deduct production bonuses for violations and diligence fees, the company has acknowledged and will consider resolving it in the near future.
In the second notice, the company asked all workers to work normally on October 6.
"In case the worker does not come to work, it will be considered free leave from October 2. After 5 days of free leave, the company will comply with the provisions in Point e, Clause 1, Article 36 of the Labor Code on the employer's right to unilaterally terminate the labor contract," the notice stated.
