The 2024 Bac Ha White Plateau Summer Festival Week takes place from June 1 to 8 with a series of colorful activities imbued with the highland character.
Activities at the Bac Ha White Plateau Festival Week in the summer of 2024 include: Bac Ha horse racing; reenactment of the national intangible cultural heritage Bac Ha horse racing festival and street parade of racing horses before the qualifying round; visiting and experiencing Tam Hoa plum gardens in Na Hoi and Ta Chai communes; experiencing the life of Tay, Mong Hoa and La Chi villages; watching the sunset and welcoming the sunrise on Ngai Thau peak, Coc Sam grassland...
According to the forecast of the Organizing Committee, during the Festival Week in 2024, Bac Ha district will welcome tens of thousands of domestic and foreign tourists. To ensure order and traffic safety, and best serve this event, the Traffic Police Department, Provincial Police and Bac Ha District Police have arranged 25 teams and checkpoints, with hundreds of officers and soldiers participating in traffic guidance. In addition, the Provincial Police Traffic Police force also deployed forces to patrol and control alcohol concentration and speed on major routes leading to Bac Ha district such as: National Highway 4D, National Highway 4E, National Highway 279.
