In 2025, 20 military schools will enroll about 4,400 college and university students in the military system. In addition, the schools plan to resume enrollment in the civilian system with about 3,500 students.
On March 18, the Military Admissions Board (Ministry of National Defense) announced the enrollment quota for 20 military schools. The total expected quota for the military system is about 4,400, a decrease of nearly 1,000 compared to last year.
Schools are expected to continue to consider admission using 7 admission combinations, including A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), C00 (Literature, History, Geography), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D02 (Math, Literature, Russian), D04 (Math, Literature, Chinese), depending on the school. In which, the most considered admission combinations are A00 and A01.
According to Colonel Do Thanh Tam, Secretary of the Military Admissions Board (Ministry of National Defense), after the Ministry of Education and Training announces the regulations, schools can expand new admission combinations so that both candidates studying the 2006 program and the 2018 program have the opportunity to apply, in which priority will be given to combinations with English subjects to suit the training goals and requirements of the schools.
The specific targets for 20 military schools are as follows:
For the military system, candidates must participate in the preliminary selection at the military command of the district, town, city, or city where they register their permanent residence, expected from March 25 to May 20.
In addition to the military system, the military school block will recruit civilian students again with about 3,500 positions. Students can register directly for admission to the schools, without having to go through a preliminary selection.
