Implementing the theme "Focusing on building grassroots associations, focusing on improving the capacity of grassroots association officials", in 2023, the Women's Union at all levels flexibly and proactively implemented the contents according to the proposed programs and work plans with many creative and effective ways.
Notably, 1,516 members were developed, bringing the total number of current members to 133,033, an increase of 1.15% compared to 2022. 100% of the association's bases implemented "Waste classification at source"; launched 106 models of "waste classification and treatment at households".

The “Green House” models collected more than 654.2 million VND from scrap metal collection, from which health insurance cards, gifts, and livelihood models were given to poor women members. There were 2,923 poor and near-poor households with women receiving support in many forms, of which 2,192 poor women households were sponsored, 235 households escaped poverty and near-poverty, reaching 8% of the total number of poor households with women, exceeding the set target.
Coordinated the organization of 101 vocational training classes for 2,694 women members; supported start-ups, entrepreneurship, business start-ups, mobilized resources to support the establishment of 18/184 new groups, cooperatives, and cooperatives. Many activities attracted the participation of all levels, sectors, organizations, individuals, women members, and people such as: the program "Godmother", "Accompanying women in the border areas", folk dance practice movement, Ao Dai week, etc.

Focus on implementing well the activities of Project 8 under the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas "Implementing Gender Equality and Solving Some Urgent Issues for Women and Children" and mobilizing many resources to implement programs and projects to support women and children in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

In the period of 2021 - 2023, the Provincial Women's Union and the Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with relevant agencies, units and localities to implement the Program "Accompanying women in the border areas" with important results, thereby contributing to changing the way of thinking and working, helping women to assert themselves, making positive contributions to socio-economic development and border protection in the province.
Many activities have practical meaning for women in the border areas such as: the program "Spring in the border - Deep love", "Humane Tet - Spring in the border warms the hearts of the villagers"; "Spring in the border - Loving Tet"...; visiting, giving gifts, supporting livelihood models; supporting the construction of charity shelters, hygienic toilets, sending messages of support, giving gifts to poor women's association members and scholarships for poor students in difficult circumstances and children of border guards...

In 2024, the provincial Women's Union at all levels will focus on implementing the theme "Promoting the application of information technology in the activities of the Union". Each district, town and city strives to build and deploy at least 1 model, initiative and solution to apply information technology to implement the theme of the year.
100% of district-level units participated in the contest "Application of information technology in organizing association activities". 100% of Women's Unions at commune, ward and town levels were equipped with their own computers and had internet connection. 100% of Women's Unions at district and commune, ward and town levels organized at least 1 activity to improve knowledge and skills in applying information technology for members and women.
