According to statistics from the General Department of Customs, in the first 11 months of 2023, the country exported over 1.38 million tons of various fertilizers, equivalent to 577.49 million USD, with an average price of 417.4 USD/ton, down 14.5% in volume, down 43.9% in turnover and down 34.4% in price compared to the first 11 months of 2022.

In November 2023 alone, 84,215 tons of various fertilizers were exported, reaching 37.5 million USD, at a price of 445.3 USD/ton, down 21.2% in volume, down 23% in turnover and down 2.2% in price compared to October 2023; Compared to November 2022, the volume, turnover and price decreased, with corresponding decreases of 12.4%, 34.4% and 25.2%.

Vietnam's fertilizers are mainly exported to the Cambodian market, which alone accounts for 35.8% of the total volume and 36% of the total fertilizer export turnover of the country, reaching 495,458 tons, equivalent to 208.19 million USD, with an average price of 420 USD/ton, up 12.8% in volume, but down 10.2% in turnover and down 20.4% in price compared to the same period in 2022. In November 2023 alone, exports to this market decreased by 5.8% in volume, down 22% in turnover and down 17.2% in price compared to October 2023, reaching 27,525 tons, equivalent to 10.19 million USD.

Behind the main market of Cambodia are markets such as: Malaysia reaching 86,624 tons, equivalent to 29.52 million USD, average price 340.8 USD/ton, down sharply 28.3% in volume, down 53.6% in turnover and down 35.3% in price, accounting for 6.3% in total volume and 5.1% in total fertilizer export turnover of the whole country.

Exports to the Myanmar market reached 46,394 tons, equivalent to 24.26 million USD, with an average price of 522.8 USD/ton, down 20% in volume and 36.3% in value, and down 20.4% in price, accounting for over 3.4% in total volume and 4.2% in total value.

Exports to the Philippines market reached 52,630 tons, equivalent to 23.89 million USD, with an average price of 453.9 USD/ton, down sharply by 31% in volume, down 59.6% in turnover, down 41.4% in price, accounting for over 3.8% in total volume and 4.1% in total turnover.
