The establishment of an independent Jazz department has created one of the prestigious cradles training many Jazz artists in Vietnam.

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the faculty, the academy organized the Jazz & Friends concert to express gratitude to the first generation, teachers and lecturers in training and research of the Vietnamese Jazz industry. The 5th Jazz & Friends also introduced to the public a generation of young Vietnamese Jazz artists and the integration of Vietnamese Jazz with the world.
