Requesting Hoa Khanh Textile Joint Stock Company - Da Nang to pay more than 1.9 billion VND to workers

On August 30, the People's Court of Lien Chieu District (Da Nang City) opened the last 6 trials of 62 labor dispute cases that occurred at Hoa Khanh - Da Nang Textile Joint Stock Company (Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, Lien Chieu District).

After 5 working days, the Trial Council announced 62 verdicts, accepting all the plaintiff's requests, according to the authorized representative, the Trade Union of the High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks of Da Nang.

Accordingly, the Union requested that Hoa Khanh - Da Nang Textile Joint Stock Company be responsible for paying all salary debts and severance allowances immediately after the judgment comes into effect.

The total amount the court ordered the company to pay was more than 1.9 billion VND, of which salary was more than 314 million VND and severance pay was more than 1.6 billion VND.

Within 30 days from the date of sentencing, if Hoa Khanh - Da Nang Textile Joint Stock Company does not appeal, the judgment will become legally effective.
