The book "The Great Victory of Spring 1975 through documents of the Saigon government" was compiled by the National Archives Center II, the Department of State Records and Archives, and the Ministry of the Interior. The book collects valuable documents from the other side, recording historical events from 1973 to 1975, from after the Paris Agreement until the revolutionary flag flew on the roof of the Independence Palace.
Although these documents do not fully reflect the context of the war or the entire cause of the failure of the Saigon government, through them, we have another perspective on their inevitable collapse before the overwhelming power of our army and people.
The memoir “General Headquarters in the Spring of Victory” by General Vo Nguyen Giap revealed historic decisions. From the opening of the Central Highlands campaign to the lightning-fast attack on Saigon, the book recounts the nerve-wracking moments of the Politburo, the Central Military Commission, the General Command and the commanding generals. The campaign maps were spread out, the decisive orders were issued, the bold steps were taken - all were faithfully reproduced through each page.
Not only is it the story of a great military campaign, the book also brings a portrait of General Vo Nguyen Giap with his strategic vision, decisiveness and the heart of a commander who always puts the national interest above all else.

Through each page, readers will feel the intelligence and bravery of Vietnam, the wisdom of the leading generals, the close coordination between campaigns, and the bold decisions that changed the destiny of the nation.
