Promote consumption, advertise culinary products, agricultural products and OCOP

During the 2025 Hai Duong Province Culture, Tourism and Trade Promotion Week held at the Con Son experience area, Con Son pagoda, in the Con Son - Kiep Bac special national relic site (Chi Linh city) opening on the morning of February 13, in addition to booths introducing cuisine, tourism, traditional craft villages, etc., there were also displays and introductions of typical agricultural products and OCOP products of Hai Duong province and some other provinces and cities.

According to information from the Organizing Committee, participating in the Week are 42 booths promoting and introducing cuisine, typical agricultural products, OCOP products, tourism, traditional craft villages of Hai Duong province and a number of provinces and cities across the country.

Districts, towns and cities in Hai Duong province all have typical specialty products and OCOP products participating in the exhibition and introduction. Along with that are OCOP products of the provinces and cities: Hung Yen, Ha Nam, Thai Binh, Bac Giang, Quang Ninh ... and booths of associations: Jewelry and Gemstone Handicraft Association, Hai Duong Leather and Footwear Association, Hai Duong Tourism Association ...

Bringing OCOP products to the festival not only helps consumers directly know, experience and purchase high-quality products, but also helps OCOP entities in Hai Duong and other provinces promote their brands to a large number of consumers, find partners, promote trade and find opportunities to access new markets.

A representative of New Star One Member Co., Ltd. (Hong Ha Ward, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh) said: The products brought to the Week are all products that have been trusted and favored by domestic and foreign markets, and are 4-star OCOP products such as: salted shrimp worms, fish sauce worms, and pho broth seasoning powder. Coming to the Trade Promotion Week will help businesses expand their markets in the coming time.

Ms. Pham Thi Hoa, owner of a fish sauce and shrimp paste production facility in An Thanh commune, Tu Ky district, brought many 3-star OCOP products. According to Ms. Hoa, participating in trade promotion weeks like this helps businesses introduce organic, clean, quality and nutritious products to consumers in and outside the province. After participating in promotion weeks at festivals like this, the consumption output of the facility's products increased significantly and up to now, the facility's products have followed consumers to foreign markets such as Japan, Taiwan, etc.

According to the Organizing Committee, the Week aims to introduce and promote culture, tourism, typical OCOP products of the locality, traditional craft village products of Hai Duong province and unique traditional art forms of Hai Duong; promote typical cuisine of Hai Duong and some provinces and cities in the country.

Coming to the Culture, Tourism and Trade Promotion Week of Hai Duong province in 2025, visitors can also enjoy: The program "Ao Dai fashion show with the theme: Eastern Land - Connecting and spreading" at 9:30 a.m. on February 14; Workers' singing, reunion dance at 9:30 a.m. on February 15; activities to experience pottery making, woodblock printing, folk games of pot breaking...
