The flag-raising ceremony, Ao Dai and ethnic costumes performance of Krong Pac district is one of the 12 main activities within the framework of the 2nd Krong Pac Durian Festival in 2024. This is also a meaningful activity of 35 ethnic groups in the district to celebrate the glorious Party, celebrate the country's renewal and celebrate Independence Day, on the occasion of the 79th National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024).

In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, thousands of officials, people and tourists performed the flag-saluting ceremony.
The flag-raising ceremony demonstrates and spreads national pride, love for the Fatherland and infinite gratitude for the great sacrifices of our army and people, and previous generations for peace, freedom and national independence.
At Tan An Lake Square, more than 2,500 local women's union members, teachers, union members and youth performed in traditional ao dai and costumes to the music of the song "Coming to My Vietnamese People" and the song "Krong Pac Aspiration to Rise Up".
This action helps spread the traditional values of "Ao Dai - Vietnamese cultural heritage" and "Preserving the cultural identity of ethnic costumes," while promoting the beauty of traditional Vietnamese culture.
Also on this occasion, the People's Committee of Krong Pac district held a ceremony to announce and award the decision to set the record for owning the longest dragon in Vietnam at the 2nd Krong Pac Durian Festival in 2024.
Krong Pac District People's Committee was awarded the record for owning the longest 120m dragon in Vietnam.
The 120m long dragon was designed in 3 months. 63 young people from 49 ethnic groups living in the province participated in the dragon performance.
This is also a symbol of the spirit of national unity, celebrating the 120th anniversary of the founding of Dak Lak province (November 22, 1904 - November 22, 2024) and the 2nd Krong Pac Durian Festival in 2024.

At the ceremony, Mr. Duong Duy Lam Vien, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Record Association, Director of the Vietnam Record Institute, on behalf of the Vietnam Record Organization, announced the decision and awarded the record to the People's Committee of Krong Pac district for owning the longest 120m dragon in Vietnam.
