On Valentine's Day this year, Tinder - the dating app launched the "Discover" experience, helping singles easily find their true love, whether it's a long-term, no-strings-attached relationship or a sincere connection.

New categories in Discover help Tinder members feel more confident and empowered in their search for a match.

Specifically, access the Discover tab on the Tinder app, select the category that suits your dating purposes, and start browsing profiles to connect with compatible people.

New categories in Discover add more explicit dating preferences like No Strings Attached and Serious Dating, helping users find the “other half” that fits their dating goals.

The Serious Dating category is designed for singles looking for a long-term relationship, making it easy for them to connect with like-minded people.

Users need to complete a profile with a full bio, at least 4 photos, and set one of the long-term connection search options as dating purposes on the profile to join the directory.

“The Discover options take the guesswork out of the process, giving singles more control over connecting with potential matches , whether they’re looking for a new friend, a casual hookup, or a long-term relationship,” said Vivek Patel, senior vice president of product development at Tinder.
