The OCOP program is implemented synchronously and widely, contributing to the awakening of land potential, products, comparative advantages, especially cultural values of the district. To maintain sustainability in OCOP product development, Cho Don District People's Committee is interested in directing and orienting OCOP entities to link production and consumption of products. Currently, the district has implemented 09 projects linking production and consumption of OCOP agricultural products including: Ngoc Thang Shan Tuyet Tea products of Ngoc Thang Agricultural Development and Medicinal Processing Company Limited; Seedless persimmons of Tan Phong Cooperative; Japonica Japanese rice of Son Lam Cooperative; Golden flower tea of Hoa Thinh Cooperative; Golden flower tea of Nghia Ta Agricultural and Forestry Cooperative; Phuc Thom Bac Kan hybrid wild boar meat of Quynh Trang Cooperative; Strawberries of Toan Dan Trade and Service Cooperative, Nam Cuong Commune; Dried Pho and Dried Vermicelli of Hong Luan Cooperative. All projects have been effectively implemented, creating a stable raw material area for the production and business of OCOP products of cooperatives.

The strawberry garden of Toan Dan Trade and Service Cooperative, Nam Cuong Commune is currently very "attractive" to visitors to visit, take photos and experience. The cooperative's strawberry products have VietGAP certification, 3-star OCOP certification, and are popular in the market.

However, the development of OCOP products associated with rural tourism in Cho Don district still faces some difficulties. Although the private economy and collective economy have been promoted, they have not yet developed strongly, leading to many local advantages in agriculture, products, labor, culture, etc. not being well exploited. Many localities have not yet identified key product lines with competitive advantages; promotion and trade promotion are still very limited.

Mr. Dang Dinh Phong, Vice Chairman of Cho Don District People's Committee said: "To promote the effectiveness of OCOP products associated with rural tourism, in the coming time, Cho Don district will strengthen propaganda work so that economic entities can shift from output thinking to quality thinking, in order to increase the value of OCOP products; diversify products to share benefits, thereby creating a united community in linking production - consumption of agricultural specialties. Developing high-value OCOP products, both creating a difference, creating emotions for consumers and bringing outstanding value, helping to improve people's lives".

At the same time, the district focuses on developing community tourism to give visitors experiences of local life. Promote the introduction of tours, tourist routes, attractions, OCOP products associated with eco-tourism, community tourism; organize cultural and culinary activities, promote tourism, introduce agricultural products, OCOP products at fairs, Culture - Tourism Weeks inside and outside the province.

The implementation of the OCOP Program has contributed to the development of the agricultural economy, changing the face of rural areas and improving the lives of people living in rural areas. The initial results have created a premise for the district to continue to associate the development of OCOP products with the exploitation of rural cultural identity tourism and successfully implement the National Target Program on New Rural Development. Thereby, increasing the added value of agricultural production, promoting sustainable rural socio-economic development./.
