Kinh Bac Legacy Research Group in collaboration with artist Cao Viet Nguyen presented 3 costumes of Queen Mother Duong Van Nga, King Dinh Tien Hoang and King Le Dai Hanh at the Workshop.
At the workshop, experts, historians, and researchers focused on discussing, analyzing, and clarifying a number of issues regarding costumes and ancient costumes such as: armor, soldiers, and generals of the Dinh-Tien Le period; costumes and customs of common people of the Dinh period; costumes of Queen Mother Duong Van Nga, King Dinh Tien Hoang, King Le Dai Hanh; and reconstruction of the Ao Vien Linh Dai Kham costume.
At the same time, the delegates also shared the journey of restoring and reviving the nation's historical cultural relics; applications in the design and production of costumes and ancient costumes in the 10th century for research and application in modern cultural activities, including films, performing arts, and other art forms; providing and supplementing documents to have a more comprehensive, detailed, and specific view of all aspects of life, cultural and social activities of our country in the 10th century, contributing to continuing to preserve and promote the cultural and historical values of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu.
The ideas contributed at the workshop will help in the reconstruction of costumes, props... for use in the movie "Ho linh Trang si - Bi am mo Vuong Dinh" filmed in Ninh Binh. This is not only a martial arts, psychological, emotional film, but also a tragic epic, imbued with national spirit.
The film is inspired by one of the countless mysterious folk legends about the tomb of King Dinh Tien Hoang - the first Emperor to lay the foundation for an independent Vietnam after more than 1,000 years of Chinese domination.
Reconstruction of armor, soldiers and generals of Dinh-Tien Le period
According to Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh province Nguyen Manh Cuong, Ninh Binh has many famous landscapes and landscapes, which are both tourist attractions and places that can serve as a backdrop for creating unique cultural products.
In addition, Ninh Binh also has a rich historical and cultural tradition associated with three dynasties: Dinh, Tien Le, Ly. The milestones and historical events of the nation associated with outstanding figures such as: Dinh Tien Hoang, Dinh Dien, Nguyen Bac, Trinh Tu, Luu Co, Queen Mother Duong Van Nga, Nguyen Minh Khong, Truong Han Sieu... through the typical historical periods of Ninh Binh are excellent "input" materials to create cultural products and services with diverse types... to meet the increasingly strong and diverse needs of consumption and cultural enjoyment of the people.
The workshop contributed to realizing the goal that by 2035, Ninh Binh will become a centrally-governed city, with the characteristics of a Millennium Heritage City, a creative city; a large center with high brand value in tourism, cultural industry, and heritage economy of the whole country and the Asia-Pacific region...
