On the morning of June 13, under the chairmanship of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, the National Assembly Standing Committee (NASC) continued to give opinions on a number of contents that need to be explained and adjusted in draft laws and resolutions expected to be passed at the 5th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Giving opinions on the draft Law on Consumer Rights Protection (amended), members of the National Assembly Standing Committee agreed that civil cases protecting consumer rights with a transaction value of VND 100 million or less should be resolved according to the simplified procedures prescribed in the Civil Procedure Code, without the need to stipulate additional conditions.

This is also consistent with international practice, as many cases with small-scale disputes can also apply the simplified procedure to ensure quick resolution and protect consumer rights. In addition, opinions also said that when the draft law is revised, it is necessary to clarify the content on consumer rights protection in cyberspace and in the financial sector, and at the same time specify the responsibilities of ministries and branches in building a database of information on consumer rights protection, reviewing the implementation and transitional provisions to avoid overlaps in implementation.
Also on the morning of June 13, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly agreed with the policy and applied a special mechanism to invest in the road from National Highway 27C to Provincial Road DT.656 of Khanh Hoa province connecting with Lam Dong and Ninh Thuan, and agreed to adjust the investment policy of the Ka Pet reservoir project in Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province.
On June 14, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly continued working.
