Vinh Long: Setting a record of 135 dishes made from pomelo

On April 12, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long province coordinated with the People's Committee of Binh Minh town and the Provincial Women's Union to organize Thanh Tra Festival and perform a Vietnamese record of 135 dishes made from Thanh Tra fruit.

20 teams competed in the Culinary Contest using ingredients from pomelo, thereby contributing many dishes and drinks with diverse colors and flavors to the record-setting performance program.

This is the first time Vinh Long province has organized Thanh Tra Festival. This is not only an opportunity for people to enjoy delicious Thanh Tra fruits and products made from Thanh Tra, but also an opportunity for gardeners, agricultural production and processing establishments to exchange experiences and expand consumption markets. Besides, it is also an opportunity to promote the potential for local tourism development, which will become one of the indispensable destinations for tourists when coming to Vinh Long./.
