VinAI brings breakthrough AI experience at Vietnam Industry 4.0 International Exhibition

The product duo includes Smart Mobility (a product line for smart cars) and Smart Edge (a security and safety solution for smart urban areas). These are artificial intelligence products made by Vietnamese people, with high applicability, in line with the new trends of the world.

Smart Mobility – A New Step in the Smart Car Industry

VinAI’s Smart Mobility product suite includes the Driver and Passenger Monitoring System and the 360-degree Panoramic View System. This is a suite of artificial intelligence products that aims to “bring a new level of safe and comfortable driving experience to the automotive industry.”

VinAI's Driver and Passenger Monitoring System uses artificial intelligence to identify dangerous driver behaviors such as drowsiness, drunkenness, smoking, using phones while driving, etc., and then issue timely warnings. In particular, this system also integrates an automatic mirror adjustment feature that appears for the first time in the automotive industry, an advanced head-up display support feature, and a virtual assistant.

Meanwhile, the 360-degree Surround View System allows the driver to monitor the entire environment around the car and automatically detects vehicles and obstacles around the car and in the “blind spot”. With the transparent observation feature (Jellyview), the system provides a transparent vehicle view that helps the driver observe the entire environment in front, behind, on both sides and even below the car.

According to VinAI, these products are competitively priced and can benefit all segments of cars, from economy to luxury, and even on buses or large trucks, increasing safety for vehicles participating in traffic. With high compatibility, VinAI Smart Mobility can be easily integrated with many hardware platforms, helping automakers optimize costs and prices.

Smart Edge – Security and safety solutions for smart cities

With Smart Edge, VinAI brings to the exhibition its newly launched product - Guardpro. This is an image data analysis solution using artificial intelligence, capable of automatically detecting unusual situations through cameras, contributing to improving the quality of security in smart cities.

GuardPro is the result of cooperation between VinAI and Qualcomm, one of the world's leading semiconductor corporations. This product helps turn individual IP cameras into a comprehensive security system, monitoring 24/7 and notifying in real time.

Using artificial intelligence models and advanced computer vision technologies, GuardPro is capable of accurately analyzing image data from hundreds of camera streams on each processor to detect security threats and violations of regulations. The solution also helps businesses optimize 30% of hardware costs, while minimizing electricity and operating costs.
