VINAI INTRODUCES SMART TECHNOLOGY INTERIORSENSE AND SURROUNDSENSE AT CAEV 2024 EXHIBITION

March 12, 2024 - VinAI Company announced its participation in the CAEV Technology Exhibition from March 14 to March 15 in Bengaluru, India. Within the framework of the exhibition, VinAI will introduce InteriorSense and SurroundSense - two advanced technology solutions for new generation smart vehicles.

VinAI’s booth will be located at HB 102-103 in the Karnataka Trade Promotion Center. Visitors to the VinAI booth will be able to directly experience the above technologies through technical simulation equipment, and understand the benefits that VinAI products bring in the field of smart mobility.

InteriorSense is a suite of advanced in-cabin solutions, including Driver and Passenger Monitoring System (DOMS), MirrorSense and DrunkSense. DOMS analyzes driver behavior in real time and detects dangerous conditions such as fatigue, drowsiness and distraction. The system then issues timely warnings, helping to ensure the safety of drivers and passengers.

The MirrorSense feature uses artificial intelligence technology, smoothly integrated into the DOMS System camera on smart cars, capable of automatically adjusting all mirrors according to the driver's head and eye position with an accuracy of up to 10mm. In addition, MirrorSense can integrate with existing car camera systems without upgrading hardware, helping users save costs. This is the world's first automatic mirror adjustment feature developed by VinAI and won the CES 2024 Innovation Award.

DrunkSense is a new feature with artificial intelligence application that automatically detects the driver's drunkenness through an electronic sensor system and analyzes the driver's behavior. The feature is currently in the research and development process at VinAI.

Meanwhile, SurroundSense includes features such as the advanced 360-degree Surround View System, Jelly View, Homezone Parking and Touch2Park. Of which, the 360-degree Surround View System gives the driver a panoramic view of the vehicle's surroundings, eliminating blind spots and enhancing situational awareness, making driving safer and more enjoyable.

Jelly View provides a clear view of the vehicle's surroundings from inside the cockpit, allowing the driver to observe the entire environment in front, behind, to the sides and below the vehicle. The feature eliminates blind spots in common viewing angles that drivers often have difficulty seeing, helping to increase efficiency and safety when driving, especially in curves, narrow spaces and potential collision areas.

The Homezone Parking and Touch2Park features can operate without ultrasonic sensors, making driving safer and more future-proof.
