On January 1, 2025, Vietnam Airlines coordinated with provinces and cities across the country to organize a program to welcome the first passengers of 2025.
The program is a special mark in the series of activities to thank and connect customers, as well as affirm the efforts to stand side by side with provinces and cities across the country to strongly promote aviation, tourism and promote destinations. Taking place at many airports across the 3 regions of the North, Central and South, this is an annual activity organized by Vietnam Airlines to mark a good start for the Vietnamese aviation and tourism industry on the occasion of the New Year. Attending the event were leaders of the People's Committees, Departments of Tourism of provinces and cities, representatives of airports and Vietnam Airlines.

Ho Chi Minh City welcomed the first passengers from Paris (France) on flight VN 10. Meanwhile, passengers on flight VN 110 from Ho Chi Minh City were the first guests to visit Da Nang in 2025. Binh Dinh and Quang Binh both welcomed the first passengers of 2025 from Ho Chi Minh City. Thua Thien Hue and Dak Lak welcomed the first guests of the year departing from Hanoi.

Passengers and flight crew were warmly welcomed with flowers, gifts and special ceremonies. This is a gratitude and best wishes from the provinces and the National Airline to passengers on their journey to start the new year.
