Vietjet and Honeywell sign $1.1 billion cooperation deal

Vietjet Air and Honeywell Aerospace Engineering Corporation (USA) have just signed a cooperation agreement worth 1.1 billion USD to provide electronic equipment and aviation technical services for the airline's modern, fuel-efficient fleet. The agreement, signed today by Vietjet CEO Dinh Viet Phuong and Mr. Joseph Vitulli, representative of Honeywell, marks an important step forward in the continued modernization of Vietjet’s fleet with avionics, electrical and electronic equipment services for auxiliary power unit (APU) on the airline’s new generation wide-body A330neo fleet and new narrow-body aircraft. Vietjet will also apply Honeywell Flight Efficiency monitoring services to its entire fleet.
