Vicasa Steel Joint Stock Company - VNSteel (stock code VCA) announced that it has received the resignation letter of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors (BOD) of Vicasa Steel for the term 2023 - 2028 due to retirement according to the regime. At the same time, this enterprise also received the resignation letter of Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Hai from the position of Head of the Board of Supervisors due to declining health.
These two resignations will be presented to shareholders at the Annual General Meeting scheduled to be held on April 9. Last year, the company achieved revenue of nearly VND1,362 billion, down 21% compared to 2023 due to a 17.9% decrease in sales volume and a 4.84% decrease in selling price compared to the same period. Accordingly, the company's after-tax profit decreased by 86%, to just over VND1 billion.

Another company, Binh Minh Plastic Joint Stock Company (stock code BMP), has just announced the dismissal of Mr. Chaowalit Treejak from the position of General Director due to his resignation due to health reasons. The effective date is June 1. Mr. Chaowalit Treejak was born in 1966, is a Thai national and has worked at Binh Minh Plastic since 2021 as Deputy General Director, then as General Director from August 2022 to present. Instead, the company appointed Mr. Niwat Athiwattananont (Thai nationality) as General Director of Binh Minh Plastic from June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2030. Mr. Niwat is currently the Director of Research and Quality Technology of SCG Chemicals Public Company Limited (Thailand).
At Vimeco Joint Stock Company (stock code VMC), Mr. Duong Van Mau also submitted his resignation as Chairman of the Board of Directors to perform some tasks assigned by Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation (Vinaconex). In addition, Mr. Nguyen Khac Hai also submitted his resignation as a member of the Board of Directors to perform other tasks of Vinaconex. Mr. Nguyen Tien Khanh also submitted his resignation as a member of the Vimeco Supervisory Board for personal reasons. Among them is Mr. Ho Duc Lam - Chairman of the Board of Directors. This is a company established in the 1960s, famous for the Rang Dong Plastic brand but has continuously fallen into a state of loss. Currently, the entire company system has almost stopped operating, most of the employees have quit and RDP shares have also stopped trading.
