By playing in the first half, when Seoul E-Land lost 1-2 to Busan I-Park in K-League 2, striker Nguyen Van Toan surpassed teammate Luong Xuan Truong in terms of playing minutes in Korea.

Van Toan started, before leaving the field early in the second half of the match at Mokdong Stadium. This marked his ninth match in K-League 2 with 388 minutes of play. Adding two matches with 40 minutes in the National Cup, Van Toan reached a total of 428 minutes to surpass Luong Xuan Truong, becoming the Vietnamese player with the most minutes of play in Korean professional leagues.
Xuan Truong played 403 minutes with seven matches in K-League 1 for Gangwon FC in the 2016 season and Incheon Unitd in the 2017 season. Meanwhile, Cong Phuong played eight matches with 352 minutes for Incheon United in K-League 1 in the 2019 season. Van Toan also had one assist more than his two former teammates at HAGL.
Another name is striker Nguyen Huu Khoi who played 19 matches to help Siheung City win the K3 League Basic, but this is the fifth division and semi-professional league in Korea.
Playing at home in round 16 today, Seoul E-Land is still considered the underdog. Their opponent is the top team Busan I-Park. In the 38th minute, the away team opened the score thanks to Kim Chan.
In the second half, Seoul E-Land equalized 1-1 thanks to Lee Si-heon. However, they could not maintain the result when Park Jeong-in scored for Busan I-Park in the 75th minute.
The defeat ended Seoul E-Land's five-match unbeaten streak, which included four wins and one draw in the K-League 2. The team is currently eighth with 20 points, six points behind fifth-placed Gimpo Citizen, having played one game more.
In round 17, Seoul E-Land will visit Seongnam on June 11. The opponent also has 20 points but is ranked higher due to more goals (21 compared to 19). After this match, Van Toan will return to Vietnam to join the Vietnamese team according to the FIFA schedule.
