This morning, National Assembly deputies questioned ministers and heads of sectors on the implementation of resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee on thematic supervision and questioning from the beginning of the 15th National Assembly term to the end of 2023 for the first group of sectors including: agriculture and rural development; industry and trade; culture, sports and tourism.

The Agriculture and Rural Development sector is the solution to remove difficulties for agricultural exports, the implementation of projects in the Strategy for sustainable agricultural and rural development; the approval of a number of plans in the agricultural sector; the completion of policies and laws on fisheries development; the strengthening of the fisheries control force; the inspection and control of fisheries exploitation activities; the conversion of land use purposes for rice cultivation, ensuring food security and rice export.

In the field of Culture, Sports and Tourism, delegates focused on questioning the implementation of the Politburo's Resolution on developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector and the Law on Tourism; the implementation of policies to support tourism recovery and development; the development of tourism products and human resources; the promulgation and implementation of plans in the fields of culture, sports and tourism; along with that is the work of perfecting policies and laws on culture; the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage values; the mobilization of resources for cultural development and cultural industry; and the training and development of cultural human resources.
This afternoon, the Ministers and heads of sectors will respond to the second group of sectors, including: Justice; Home Affairs; Security, order, and social safety; Inspection; Court; and Procuracy.

In particular, in the field of Home Affairs, delegates were interested in the organization and implementation of the arrangement of administrative units at the district and commune levels in the period of 2019 - 2021. Specifically, the arrangement and settlement of regimes and policies for redundant officials and civil servants; the arrangement and handling of redundant headquarters and public assets; the establishment, adjustment and supplementation of records and boundary maps of administrative units at all levels; the review, establishment and adjustment of planning, investment in urban infrastructure development and urban classification; the organization and implementation of the arrangement of administrative units at the district and commune levels in the period of 2023 - 2025.
In the areas under the responsibility of the Ministry of Justice, delegates are interested in asset auctions, judicial appraisals; administrative judgment enforcement; and asset recovery in corruption, economic, and position cases.

In the field of Security, Order and Social Safety, delegates were concerned about the increasing trend of crimes and violations of laws on social order; the situation of fires and explosions nationwide is still complicated. Notably, in recent times, there have been fires with particularly serious consequences, the risk of fire and explosion safety is still very high.
Regarding the inspection field, delegates questioned the application of information technology in citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement, which still has many shortcomings...
