National Assembly leaders and Committee Chairmen after restructuring

(NLDO)- After the reorganization, the National Assembly leadership includes National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and 6 National Assembly Vice Chairmen.

On the afternoon of February 18, the National Assembly elected and passed a resolution to elect the Standing Committee of the 15th National Assembly and Chairmen of a number of National Assembly Committees after streamlining the apparatus.

After the reorganization, the National Assembly leadership includes National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; the National Assembly Vice Chairmen are: Mr. Nguyen Khac Dinh, Mr. Tran Quang Phuong, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh, Mr. Le Minh Hoan and Mr. Vu Hong Thanh.

The agencies of the National Assembly also have many changes after the merger, including: The Council of Nationalities, keeping its current name. The Chairman of the Council of Nationalities is Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie K'dam.

The Committee on Law and Justice was established on the basis of merging the Committee on Law and the Committee on Justice. The Chairman of the Committee on Law and Justice is Mr. Hoang Thanh Tung.

The Economic and Financial Committee was established on the basis of merging the Economic Committee and the Finance and Budget Committee. The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Committee is Mr. Phan Van Mai.

The Committee on Culture and Society was established on the basis of merging the Committee on Culture, Education and the Committee on Society. Mr. Nguyen Dac Vinh is the Chairman of this Committee.

The Committee on National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs was established on the basis of merging part of foreign affairs work into the Committee on National Defense and Security. Mr. Le Tan Toi holds the position of Chairman of the Committee on National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs.

The names of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment and the Office of the National Assembly remain the same as they are now. The Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment is Mr. Le Quang Huy.

Mr. Le Quang Tung, Secretary General of the National Assembly, holds the position of Head of the National Assembly Office.

Two committees under the National Assembly Standing Committee were upgraded to committees, including: the People's Aspirations and Supervision Committee; the Delegation Affairs Committee. The Chairman of the People's Aspirations and Supervision Committee is Mr. Duong Thanh Binh; the Chairman of the Delegation Affairs Committee is Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai.
