On November 27, at the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE - Ghenh Rang Ward, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh), the Rencontres du Vietnam, ICISE and the Simons Astrophysics Group at IFIRSE (under ICISE) jointly organized the 2nd SAGI Astrophysics Workshop on dust polarization and applications in astrophysics.
The workshop was attended by about 40 experts, scientists, professors from universities and astrophysics research institutes in Vietnam and countries and territories such as: Korea, USA, India, Japan, Taiwan, Poland, Germany, South Africa...
Young researchers attend the 2nd SAGI astrophysics workshop on dust polarization
Experts in dust polarization physics will present and discuss new research results in the field of astrophysics, especially the pioneering research direction of astrophysics in the "golden era" of dust polarization, along with computational and observational models to solve problems of cosmic dust, dust polarization, 3D magnetic field measurement using polarized dust techniques...
In particular, the workshop prioritizes the active participation of young researchers, providing them with the opportunity to present their research and engage in discussions with renowned scientists in the field. This, in turn, facilitates scientific collaboration and development for young scientists in the astrophysics community.
The 2nd SAGI Astrophysics Workshop on Dust Polarization and Applications in Astrophysics will close on December 1.
