Vietnam always maintains a steadfast stance on resolving the Hamas-Israel conflict by peaceful means on the basis of respecting international law and relevant United Nations resolutions, ensuring the legitimate interests of the parties involved, and implementing the two-state solution.
Vietnam always supports the just struggle of the Palestinian people for independence and freedom. Vietnam is also ready to join the efforts of the United Nations and the international community to promote dialogue and seek a peaceful, long-term and sustainable solution to the conflict.
Ms. Greta Gunnarsdottir thanked the Vietnamese Government for contributing 500,000 USD for emergency humanitarian relief for the Palestinian people through UNRWA.
