This donation from Uniqlo Vietnam will be given to the HOPE Foundation to provide sustainable support, helping people affected by storms and floods quickly return to normal life. Support activities focus on the education sector, including renovating classrooms that have been peeled, collapsed, lost doors, or flooded, rebuilding embankments and dykes to make schools safe, and providing books, school supplies, and clothes that have been swept away by floods or mud.
Speaking about the cooperation plan with the Hope Foundation, Mr. Nishida Hideki - General Director of Uniqlo Vietnam said: “The passing of Storm No. 3 left behind a lot of huge damage. As a business that always accompanies customers and people in the markets where Uniqlo is present, through the cooperation with the Hope Foundation, we hope to provide timely support to help people overcome difficulties soon, and students can return to school in a safe, clean environment, and confidently cultivate knowledge. This is also an important part of Uniqlo's commitment to long-term contributions to the people and society of Vietnam”.

To date, the RE.Uniqlo program has donated more than 39,000 clothing products to people in difficult circumstances in the provinces of Dien Bien, Son La, Ha Giang, Yen Bai, Thanh Hoa... During the Covid-19 pandemic, together with the Hope Fund, Uniqlo donated 4,000 AIRism shirts and 1,000 masks to frontline forces such as doctors and medical staff.
In addition, in early 2024, Uniqlo contributed 1 billion VND to the Hope Fund to build a new school in Trong Trai, Ho Bon commune, Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province, contributing to strengthening facilities and improving the quality of education for students and teachers.
