Vietnam's pepper industry is facing a great opportunity to break through and set a new record for export value in 2025. According to the forecast of the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA), global pepper output continues to decline while consumption demand remains stable, creating favorable conditions for Vietnam's pepper exports.

The strong growth in pepper export value in the first months of 2025 can be explained by many factors, including the forecast decrease in global pepper output in 2025, leading to scarcity and pushing up prices. Global pepper consumption remains stable, especially in major markets such as the United States and Europe. In particular, Vietnamese pepper is highly appreciated for its quality, meeting the needs of demanding markets.

Mr. Thai Nhu Hiep - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Director of Vinh Hiep Company Limited said that global pepper output in 2025 will continue to decrease while consumption demand remains stable, which will create favorable conditions for export.
