The Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to listen to the City People's Committee report on the progress of implementing the Tra Ly riverside urban area project.

On the morning of March 20, comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting of the Provincial People's Committee to listen to the City People's Committee report on the progress of the implementation of the urban area project along the Tra Ly river in Le Hong Phong ward, Bo Xuyen ward and Ky Ba ward, Thai Binh city.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the meeting.

At the meeting, the leaders of the City People's Committee reported on the progress of preparing the dossier to adjust the 1/2000 scale zoning plan and the 1/500 scale detailed plan for the Tra Ly riverside area. Regarding site clearance, up to now, compensation and support for site clearance for 12 enterprises and production and business establishments; 57 households and individuals have been basically completed; the relocation of offices and the liquidation and dismantling of assets of agencies and units. Thai Binh City is focusing on relocating 2 enterprises and 4 units and site clearance for the remaining 4 households.
At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing solutions to soon complete site clearance and relocate remaining agencies, businesses and households.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized the significance and importance of the project in opening up a new urban space for the city. He requested Thai Binh City and related sectors to be determined to speed up the site clearance progress, completing it in March 2025. The City People's Committee coordinates with related units to urgently complete the zoning plans and detailed plans. Regarding the relocation of the offices of the remaining 4 agencies and units, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Finance and related departments and sectors to advise on plans and funding sources to support the agencies to relocate to new locations. After the zoning plans and detailed plans are approved, the City People's Committee will promptly prepare a draft proposal for investment policy and auction planning to send to related departments and sectors according to regulations.
