According to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the results of land recovery by the People's Committees of districts and cities are estimated to be about 105 projects/1,288.59ha by December 31, 2023; accounting for 46.26% of the number of projects and 57.24% of the area. Districts and cities have made land use plans for 2024, with an estimated 2,340ha included in the list of projects to be recovered to implement 211 projects. Of which, the projects transferred from 2023 to be implemented in 2024 are 169 projects/2,026ha; the newly registered projects in 2024 are 42 projects/314ha. In addition, there are projects included in the 2023 land use plan at the district level to complete procedures for land allocation, land lease, and land use purpose conversion.
Comrade Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.
Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committees of districts and cities to propose a list of land acquisition projects, conversion of rice land use purposes and implement the 2024 land use plan to ensure the right time and comply with the provisions of law. Districts and cities coordinate with departments and branches to unify the time of land use plans, conversion of land use purposes in 2024 to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval as a basis for proposing the Provincial People's Council to issue a Resolution approving the list of projects that must acquire land in 2024 in the province. For the group of newly registered projects, localities should include them in the public investment group and proactively arrange capital for investment. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment needs to support districts and cities with technical procedures and legal regulations on land acquisition and conversion of rice land use purposes so that the 2024 land use plan can achieve high results.
