On the morning of March 22, the Provincial People's Committee organized a meeting with businessmen in the first quarter of 2025 with the topic: Removing difficulties and obstacles, promoting the development of social housing in the province. Comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting. Overview of the meeting program
After more than 10 years of implementing social housing loans, Bac Ninh province has more than 1,600 customers who have borrowed 737.2 billion VND of policy credit capital from the social housing loan program. Up to now, Bac Ninh province has implemented 54 social housing projects for low-income people and housing for workers in industrial parks, with a total land area of about 173 hectares, providing about 77,000 apartments for more than 231,000 people (of which 6 projects were completed before 2021 and are in operation, providing about 11,000 apartments).
Implementing the project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period of 2021-2030" approved by the Prime Minister, Bac Ninh province will develop 72,200 apartments in the period of 2026-2030. Of which, more than 7,000 apartments have been completed in the period of 2021-2024. In the period of 2025-2030, Bac Ninh province aims to complete 65,180 apartments. Specifically, in 2025, there will be 10,686 apartments; in 2026: 6,000 apartments; in 2027: 6,000 apartments; in 2028: 13,000 apartments; in 2029: 14,500 apartments and in 2030: 14,994 apartments. This is a challenging task but also has important significance in ensuring social security and attracting workers to the locality.

At the program, leaders of the Department of Construction, the Provincial Social Policy Bank, and the State Bank of Region V informed about the results of social housing development, the implementation of lending to organizations and individuals for social housing in the province and some orientations in the coming time.
With the message "Sharing information - accompanying businesses to develop", the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, departments and branches directly discussed and answered questions and opinions of businesses and entrepreneurs related to: Planning work, loan interest costs, home buyers, income of social housing buyers, workers' housing; Procedures for confirming income of social housing buyers; Information work about the project to buyers... At the same time, they accepted solutions and proposals from businesses, in order to create motivation for social housing development in the area.

Speaking at the program, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan said that in the period of 2021-2030, the rate of social housing and workers' housing in Bac Ninh province accounts for 7.2% of the national rate, such a scale is very large compared to the province's area; Bac Ninh province has gone one step ahead of other localities in developing social housing. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that developing social housing and housing for workers is the goal of the Party and State in solving social security issues. In the past time, Bac Ninh province has promptly removed difficulties and obstacles for many projects, creating favorable conditions for project investors and workers to access social housing and workers' housing.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested localities with projects facing difficulties and problems with site clearance to urgently coordinate with investors to develop a site clearance plan for the remaining areas before April 5 and focus on site clearance from now until May 30.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to set up a hotline to provide support, guidance, and professional answers; the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board and the Department of Construction to develop worker accommodation areas within the service land area of the Industrial Park in an effort to create the most favorable environment for businesses in the Industrial Park to develop.
