On the night of March 23, Vietnam time, U17 Vietnam arrived in Muscat, Oman after a flight of more than 24 hours from Hanoi, with a transit in Doha (Qatar).

This is the training location of U17 Vietnam to prepare for the 2025 U17 Asian Finals, taking place in Saudi Arabia from April 3 to 20.

At the airport, coach Cristiano Roland and his team were warmly welcomed by the local organizers, who quickly assisted them with the necessary procedures so that they could quickly settle into their accommodation.

After a period of rest and recovery, U17 Vietnam went to the training ground in the afternoon of the same day.

The training load is not too heavy, mainly helping the players maintain their physical condition and adapt to the weather conditions in Oman (temperature ranges from 21 - 31 degrees Celsius).

According to plan, U17 Vietnam will have two friendly matches with U17 Oman, taking place at 7:00 p.m. on March 25 and 6:30 p.m. on March 27 (Vietnam time).

Regarding the importance of the training and friendly match trip in Oman before the 2025 AFC U17 Championship, head coach Cristiano Roland said this is a good opportunity for young players to gain international competition experience and practice their ability to adapt to different weather conditions and playing styles.

"We want to make the most of this opportunity to test our tactical capabilities, evaluate the progress of our players and correct any shortcomings before entering the 2025 AFC U17 Championship," said Roland.
