TYM Phu Tho branch deploys tasks for 2025

On January 16, the Provincial Women's Union coordinated with TYM Phu Tho branch (Tinh Thuong Microfinance Organization established by the Vietnam Women's Union) to summarize activities in 2024 and deploy directions and tasks for 2025.

On behalf of the leaders of the Provincial Women's Union, TYM awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Women's Union to collectives with outstanding achievements in implementing and organizing coordination activities between the Women's Union and TYM Phu Tho branch in 2024.

In 2024, TYM Phu Tho branch coordinated with the Women's Union at all levels in the province to implement and exceed the set targets. Maintain the operation of the Branch Office model and 4 Transaction Offices in 8 districts, cities and towns: Viet Tri, Tam Nong, Thanh Son, Phu Tho Town, Phu Ninh, Yen Lap, Cam Khe, Thanh Thuy. TYM's activities have expanded to 9 more communes, bringing the total number of wards and communes with TYM activities to 81 wards, communes and towns, 522 residential areas, 419 clusters (an increase of 8 wards/communes, 19 clusters compared to 2023).

During the year, the branch adjusted the lending interest rate 5 times to create conditions for customers to flexibly access loan sources; supported disbursement for over 6,529 customers with a total amount of over VND 245 billion, outstanding loans reaching over VND 149 billion.

Along with lending activities, TYM Phu Tho branch also organized many social security activities. During the year, TYM supported nearly 500 million VND for activities such as: Supporting the purchase of equipment for 4 units: Huong Non Commune Health Station (Tam Nong district), Phu Lo Secondary School (Phu Ninh district), Xuan Vien Kindergarten (Yen Lap district), Huong Lung Kindergarten (Cam Khe district); building a "Shelter of Love" for customer Nguyen Thi Hang, Mit area, Yen Lap town, Yen Lap district; visiting and giving gifts to 95 member families and policy families on July 27; awarding 6 scholarships to support TYM to help customers' children study at university and secondary school and 35 scholarships to encourage members' children with excellent achievements and difficult circumstances; giving gifts to 74 TYM customers affected by storm No. 3; Maintain sponsorship of 1 child and give gifts to 5 orphans in difficult circumstances.

Conference overview

In 2025, the branch will continue to expand its area from 12-14 communes and wards, increasing its membership to 13,654 people; disbursed capital will reach VND 285 billion. The number of poor and near-poor members accessing policy capital will reach 5% of the total members of the branch. At the same time, promote the organization of cultural and sports exchanges, study tours, thematic activities, capacity building for members, and maintain humanitarian and charitable activities in the area.
