Blowing the whistle on 7 contractors at a national key project

On March 25, the Dong Nai Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board issued documents notifying the progress of construction contracts and reviewing the construction progress of 7 contractors for Component Project 1, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project and Component Project 3, Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City Project.

A section of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway through Dong Nai province is under construction.

Accordingly, 3 contractors violated the construction contract progress of construction packages at Component Project 1, Bien Hoa Vung Tau Expressway Project including: 479 Hoa Binh Joint Stock Company (construction package No. 18); Construction Corporation No. 1-CTCP (construction package No. 21); Hai Dang Joint Stock Company (construction package No. 21).

In Component Project 3, Ring Road 3 Project - Ho Chi Minh City, there is 1 contractor, Tan Nam Construction Joint Stock Company, which was notified of violating the construction contract progress (package number 26).

Contractors were notified of contract progress violations and criticized for delays in mobilizing personnel, vehicles, equipment, and materials for construction work, leading to delays in construction progress at the site.

The Dong Nai Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board also reviewed and reminded the construction progress of the 3 contractors of Component Project 1, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project, including Truong Son Construction Corporation (member of the consortium implementing package No. 18), Construction Service and Trade Joint Stock Company 68 (implementing package No. 18) and Trung Nam Construction and Installation Joint Stock Company (implementing package No. 18).

The Dong Nai Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board also requested contractors to urgently mobilize human resources and machinery to speed up construction progress on the handed-over area to ensure the completion of the projects.
