At the propaganda session, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duy Ba - Deputy Political Commissar of Brigade 146 informed cadres and party members about the following contents: Position, role, importance of Vietnam's seas and islands; the recent situation of seas and islands and the core role of the Vietnam People's Navy in the task of protecting the sacred sovereignty of the seas, islands and continental shelf of the Fatherland; generalized basic knowledge about the situation of sea and island disputes in the world; scientific, historical arguments, legal basis affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the seas and islands over the two archipelagos of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa; the recent situation in our country's seas; some issues arising in the current struggle to protect sovereignty over the seas and islands.
Through propaganda, it helps cadres, party members and people better understand the viewpoints, policies and guidelines of the Party and State on the task of protecting sea and island sovereignty in the current period; raise awareness among cadres, party members and people about the responsibility of protecting sea and island sovereignty, actively fight and refute acts that violate the rights and interests of the nation in the East Sea today.
